Who can be a Member?
Any RN that works in the Perioperative Area. This includes Ambulatory Surgery and PACU .
Who Can Be An Associate Member? Associate
membership is a non-voting category for individuals who are primarily engaged in one of the following professions:
- Health care industry representative
- Central service professional
- Physician
- Health care Administrator
- Materials manager
- Informatics personnel
- Pharmacist
Associate members may not hold elective office or serve
as delegates.
Be Involved-Stay Involved. As
an AORN member, you will increase your exposure to issues and concerns within the perioperative nursing community, enrich
your professional and personal development, and contribute to the industry's overall advancement and quality patient care.
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we have a great time
when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, and we hope to further our cause.
