We are doing a ceiling tile project to highlight O. R. Nurse Day.  The staff, the surgeons and, their children, grand children, nieces, nephews, anybody could paint/draw/color a ceiling tile.  They have had the opportunity to be creative.  I ordered 200 ceiling tiles and have let them take as many as they wanted.  As they have brought them in, we have hung them, scattered throughout the operating room.  This will give our patients that lay on their back, looking up something to see besides a white ceiling.  This has been a fun project and has been embraced by all.
